Primary Purpose:

The Executive Administrative Director (EAD) of the Women’s Health service line reports directly to the Vice President of Multidisciplinary Care, and is accountable for the overall success and performance of the Women’s Health service line. Goals of the Women’s Health service line include improving patient care and satisfaction, improving worker productivity and engagement, growing patient volume and market share, and serving as a resource to the community.

The EAD is responsible for the overall management, direction, and performance of the service line and its associated programs. The EAD is responsible for managing the service line through a collaborative, matrix relationship with site and departmental leaders. Areas of responsibility include: clinical operations, program design and implementation, financial and human resource management, marketing, public relations, strategic planning, regulatory compliance and accreditation. The EAD will work across the enterprise, engaging in joint problem-solving and decision-making, and will manage administrative and non-physician clinical personnel in either a matrix or direct management model, as determined by the UC Health COO.

This position is accountable for the development and implementation of a seamless administrative and operational structure that is user-friendly for patients, providers, and other stakeholders. The EAD is responsible for service line coordination and communication with site and departmental leadership across the health system, and the overall progress and success of the women’s health clinical service line.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

Education: Minimum required, Bachelor's degree, Business Management, Nursing, Other, Healthcare, or Related Field of Study. Master's degree preferred.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 -5 years equivalent experience, preferred 6-10 years equivalent experience.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-10 years in a clinical setting or women’s health administration role with a track record of success with progressive responsibility. The candidate should be a seasoned professional who possesses a clinical background or significant experience managing clinical operations paired with exceptionally strong business and leadership skills. This individual will be experienced in dealing effectively with the needs of multiple stakeholders and developing a team-oriented culture within a matrix environment. Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and superior people skills. In addition, this individual must possess the ability to lead teams in sometimes ambiguous or rapidly changing environments, and successfully manage high stress situations and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of performance, integrity, and positive relationships, and can demonstrate past successes in similar high-level positions.
