The Healthcare News is managed by the following key individuals.

David Peel, Publisher, Editor and CEO

David and his wife Elizabeth founded the Healthcare News organization in 2006 with their first publication and web site, the Washington Healthcare News. In 2009 they founded the California Healthcare News publication and web site, in 2010 they founded the Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Utah Healthcare News publications and web sites, and in 2012 they founded the New Mexico and Texas Healthcare News publications and web sites.

From 1983 to 2006, David held increasingly responsible positions at health insurance companies in Arizona and Washington. He held Chief Financial Officer positions from 1996 to 2006.

He holds a Master's in Business Administration and a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.

David enjoys life in the Pacific Northwest with his wife Elizabeth and their five children. He augments his family time with running and reading.

Elizabeth Peel, Managing Director

Elizabeth has held professional positions at health insurance companies and third party administrators since 1990. In 2006 she founded the Healthcare News organization with David and currently serves as Managing Director in charge of distribution, finance and operations.

She holds a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.

Elizabeth enjoys life in the Pacific Northwest with her husband David and their five children. She augments her family time with yoga and long walks with their dogs.

Jennifer Sharp, Account Executive

Jennifer joined the Healthcare News in April of 2010. Prior to that, she was involved in Marketing and Business Development for a healthcare construction firm. She also has an extensive background working in administration within the Dental community.

She truly enjoys working for the Healthcare Care News and having the opportunity to provide the customers with a product that is full of value, integrity and insight with top-notch customer service. The Healthcare News team is dedicated to first-class customer service, which Jennifer feels is the basis to building successful working relationships.

Jennifer lives in Portland, Oregon and enjoys a variety of activities including spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and keeping in shape just to name a few. She also finds an extreme amount of enjoyment in playing with her two Chihuahuas.
