Overview

Hiring for emotional and mental health service delivery for children and families in Josephine County, Oregon (Grants Pass and surrounding area)

The Manager facilitates the delivery of skills training services that are child and family-centered, recovery-based, and clinically-driven. This position manages child and family skills training services, providing guidance and mentoring to skills training staff in the clinic and community. This position works closely with other professionals in Options Child/Youth Outpatient services including Managers, Clinical Supervisors, therapists, occupational therapist, psychiatry and peer specialists.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical and administrative direction and supervision to skills trainers and other assigned personnel. Provides in-clinic and community based instruction and modeling to staff, child and family to teach treatment interventions and provides follow up monitoring. Provides clinical and operational oversight of skills trainers schedules and caseloads to ensure that services are responsive to clients’ needs both in timeliness of response and appropriateness of treatment. Performs the appropriate assessment when indicated to determine treatment needs. Formulates a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of learning; ensures family is included in teaching, as appropriate.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in behavioral health, education or other relevant field. Occupational Therapists or Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) are also encouraged to apply. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience required.

Candidate must be able to work independently and flexibly, under general supervision. Computer proficiency required to use Electronic Health Records effectively. Must pass state-required background check and DMV checks; possess a valid OR driver's license and demonstrate a safe driving record.
