The Clinical Education Coordinator develops clinical education programs for the nursing, allied health and patient care employees of Island Hospital. This position supports the professional growth and development of Island Hospital’s clinical staff and fosters the development of skills to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced based practice. This occurs through the facilitation of the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency assessment, continuing education and staff development.
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required with previous experience providing clinical education.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
- Current RN license issued by the WA Department of Health.
- Current BLS Certification required, ACLS and PALS certification encouraged.
