TITLE: Director Workforce Planning & Integration
DUTIES: The Director Workforce Planning & Integration at Cleveland Clinic in Independence, Ohio focuses on industry-leading best practices and directs the overall nursing workforce planning strategy and integration of nursing services throughout the Cleveland Clinic Health System. He or she transforms the nursing workforce to be more mobile throughout clinic facilities, develops innovative nursing workforce strategies tailored to specific generations of caregivers, and develops strategies to ensure successful knowledge transfer from experienced nurses in preparation of employee turnover. The Director Workforce Planning & Integration partners with the Senior Director of Staffing Resources & Centralized Staffing office to develop strategies to expand enterprise float capabilities and pool needs. He or she conducts quantitative and qualitative research to identify industry best practices in workforce planning and systems integration, demonstrates a thorough understanding of healthcare and nursing finance related to productivity and workforce planning metrics, and collaborates with stakeholders and/or vendors regarding technological deployment to achieve workforce efficiency. Additional duties of the Director Workforce Planning & Integration include: developing best practices for management and oversight of PRNs; evaluating and analyzing future clinic staffing needs and partnering with nursing leaders and nurse recruitment to develop and implement workforce strategies; participating in planning for deployment, integration, consolidation, and/or expansion of nursing services and resources; and establishing and executing integration plans for nursing services via acquisition and facility expansion.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or Public Health and 3 years of experience in nursing administration. Experience to include workforce onboarding and training in inpatient and outpatient settings, global market planning for enterprise acquisitions and facility expansion, and quantitative and qualitative research related to workforce planning and system integration.
SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($105,000.00)
