As a key member of our leadership team, you will help to continually develop the results-driven initiatives that define our success and are transforming healthcare.
This position provides leadership and direction to the Clinical Information Systems (CIS) department. The department serves VMMC in the training of enterprise wide applications. The position is responsible for the management of the enterprise wide application training team supporting implementations, ongoing application training programs, training initiatives / special projects.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- This position requires strong management skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning.
- Minimum of 4 years demonstrated project management skills, organizational perspective, strong organizational and time management skills.
- 5-8 years teaching experience, demonstrated ability in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Knowledge of applications design.
- Demonstrated skills in CQI experience in a variety of application and technical training methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred: In depth experience in the health care industry and experience in web-based training modules and / or e-Learning.
