Administrator- Risk Mmgmt amd Aud - UCHealth Business Center - Internal Audit(Job Number: 054742)
Primary Purpose: The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) & Audit Administrator will facilitate and conduct the Enterprise Risk Management and Audit functions. The Administrator will leverage their business, financial, and audit knowledge to assess risk and controls for the organization. This position will create a reporting process that effectively communicates organizational risks and mitigating controls to Director of Internal Audit
Knowledge and Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar degree, minimum required. Master's in Business Administration, preferred. CPA or other certification preferred.
License and Certification: Certified Public Accountant and/or Certified Internal Auditor are preferred.
Years of Experience: Three to five years equivalent experience, minimum required. Six to ten years equivalent experience, preferred.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Working knowledge of leading industry/best practices for assessing internal controls, mitigating risk, and experience in developing processes and controls as well as in measuring their effectiveness. Associate should possess three skill sets:
- Conceptual Skills – planning, organizing, decision-making, and Strategic Thinking
- Core Competency Skills – leadership, motivator, team builder, and communication
- Technical Skills – risk management, process, risk analysis, and project management
The associate should have excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to develop tailored ERM scorecards and communicate results. Ability to write accurate and concise ERM reports for all levels of audience, from department/unit level to Board level.
