Duties:

The Director of Process Improvement is responsible for all Process Improvement (PI) activities across all sectors of the organization. The Director of PI will develop process improvement strategies that include all components of Process improvement from initial program development, developing team education, leading educational opportunities, leading and coordinating Process Improvement teams, and working directly with the Quality department in tracking and reporting data and improvement metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years experience leading formal process improvement work.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Formal project management training and experience

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Advanced degree in relevant field preferred.
  2. Recent relevant experience in the health care field preferred.
  3. Strong background in evidence-based Process Improvement methodologies.
  4. Proven performance in program development and implementation.
  5. Experience in managing big picture strategic planning and tactical project implementation.
  6. Proficient in obtaining, organizing and analyzing data to challenge conventional wisdom, make fact-based decisions, drive root cause analysis, and evaluate outcomes.
