Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide Focused Leadership For All Aspects Of Oncology And Palliative Care At Skagit Regional Health, And Any Joint Venture Where Cancer Services Are Rendered In Our Service Areas.
  • Direct The Continued Development Of Operating And Capital Budgets, And Monitoring Revenues/Expenses For Scope Of Operations.
  • Work With The Physician Group On Evaluation Of New Technology, Expansion Of Service Lines, And Review Of Quality Data For Performance Improvement.
  • Identify Regional Outreach Opportunities Providing Community Education Programs.
  • Develop Annual Customer Service And Quality Goals.
  • Collaborate With Marketing On The Focus And Implementation Of Annual Communication And Marketing Plan. Ensures Compliance With Regulatory Guidelines, All Service Line Accreditation Standards, And Timeliness And Accuracy Of All Data Abstraction.
  • Manage Contracts And Service Agreements Associated With The Service Line.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Minimum Of Ten Years’ Experience In Healthcare With At Least 3 Years Of Progressive Management Or The Equivalent And Experience With Change Management. Lean Six Sigma Principles Working In A Highly Complex, Integrated Health System Preferred.
  • Advanced Degree In Health Or Business Administration, Nursing Or A Combination Of Education And/Or Equivalent Clinical Experience Specifically Relevant To The Primary Accountabilities Of The Position Required.
  • Clinical License (Rn, Msw, Rt) And Certification In Clinical Specialty (Ocn, Osw, Rtt) Preferred, Certification Or Training In Lean Six Sigma Preferred.
