This position will oversee the planning, execution, management and measurement of all e-communications such as email and text messaging. This position requires a person to have the technical skills, experience, and a passion to work with data and have a keen sense on how to use data and new marketing technologies to innovate and drive the marketing organization forward. E-communications also includes non-Internet channels such as email and mobile phones (SMS and MMS).

  • Write and implement strategic e-communication plans
  • Maintain overall calendar for each audience ensuring volume, frequency and cadence are maximized
  • Define and implement A/B or multivariate testing to optimize e-campaigns
  • Implement behavioral triggers within campaigns based on members’ specific action; measure results
  • Assist in developing personalized and dynamic content to ensure each communication is relevant to the target audience
  • Provide advanced reporting and analysis to understand exactly how successful the campaign was, in real-time, and track user’s journey for campaigns
  • Consult and provide recommendations to clients based on the goals they outline and insights from previous campaigns
  • Be proactive in communicating with clients about status of projects to set expectations
  • Provide support to internal teams who require new or revisions to existing e-communications
  • Manage the planning and technical execution of e-communications across markets to ensure messages and timing are optimized to meet campaign goals
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to deploy high-quality e-communications to drive required behaviors
  • Manage the development and accuracy of dashboards for all levels of management view
  • Deliver both data and insights to understand what is working to consistently be improving performance
  • Provide monthly analysis of performance. Make recommendations for improvements, when needed.
  • Proactively engage and coordinate activities with all internal stakeholders responsible for the digital experience

Skills / Requirements

1. Required Work Experience

  • 5 years of experience in marketing communications or business writing
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) marketing

2. Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field of study

1. Preferred Work Experience

  • 5 years of experience in healthcare marketing
  • 5 years of both client-side and advertising agency experience
  • 5 years of project management experience

2. Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field of study

1. Required Job Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (All Levels)
  • Advanced writing skills, including knowledge of AP style
  • Ability to use email and text software tools
  • Advanced reporting and analytical skills
