CCS is looking for a Rockstar Mental Health Crisis Worker III to help bring security and safety to our community members in Wheeler/Gilliam County. This is a full time Mental Health Crisis Worker (providing 24-hour crisis services) with an alternative work schedule. Crisis workers showcase their competencies in short-term care by establishing goals for clients and aids in achieving them after a crisis. This is the first step to stabilize high risk events and is important to bring peace of mind to customers and the community. Our team of crisis workers highlight necessary services, provide information to interest groups, screen referrals and use organizational skills to complete clinical records. They also maintain an urgency to work collaboratively with law enforcement and other community partners.

What does it take to be a Crisis Worker?

  • Masters degree from an accredited college in psychology, social work or another human service-related field.
  • Higher wages for those possessing an LPC, LCSW or PhD.
  • Pass a criminal history background check.
  • Posses a current Oregon driver’s license.

The salary range for this full-time position is $46,200-$83,400 per year, dependent on degree, experience, and licensure.
