Assistant Patient Care Manager Job Summary:
The Assistant Patient Care Manager will be responsible and accountable for over-seeing the operations of a designated Care Center on her/his respective shift. Duties include directing delivery of quality, patient-centered care in a financially responsible manner. This is in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Patient Care Managers and Clinical Director.
The Assistant Patient Care Manager (APCM) for Labor and Delivery provides clinical and administrative leadership. In this role you are responsible for assisting in the management of the nursing and clinical support staff. The APCM is responsible for providing regulatory and quality oversight to the staff. This person works in conjunction with the Patient Care Manager to oversee the daily operations of the unit in a financially responsible and patient-centered care manner.
