Facility: Broadway Medical Building Clinic
Location: Fargo, ND
Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 40.00
Implement new or updated programs or portions of large scale surgical and laboratory initiatives. Project impact costs, quality, efficiencies and achievement of objectives across departments, often with enterprise-wide impacts. Apply advanced technical and clinical knowledge to solve complex problems which may impact service lines or corporate service or regional entity.
Oversee hospital-based inpatient and outpatient services related to surgery and trauma services, and other services, departments or functions as defined by the enterprise.
Collaborate with leaders to improve efficiencies in the delivery of patient services and resources. Plan and implement opportunities for improvement within each department, and coordinate opportunities for improvement among the departments.
Assure the existence of appropriate philosophy, goals and objectives for assigned areas, and that they remain consistent with the overall mission, values, and strategic plan for emergency and trauma in the market, and the enterprise.
Facilitate the growth and development of staff, and serve as a role model, leader, resource and mentor. Must demonstrate measurable success in managing complex departments, functions and services in a competitive environment.
The areas of oversight for this Executive Director include: Eye Services; Trauma Surgery; Inpatient Units, including Med/Surg (8CD) and Innovation (8A); OMS; Plastic Surgery; Lab; Pathology; ENT; and Audiology.
Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care administration, business or related field. Master's degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum ten years of professional experience in a health care or business related field and at least five years of progressive management experience.
Must maintain any certification or licensure in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required. Membership in a professional healthcare management organization, such as American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) preferred.
