We are seeking a Program Director, Generations to:

  • Lead the daily and administrative functions in an Ambulatory setting for fertility care. Generations Infertility Care reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialists combine state-of-the-art technology and compassionate, personalized care to assist couples who wish to become parents.
  • Conduct high-level presentations to executives and Boards of Directors.
  • Serve on Ambulatory, Nursing Department, UW Health and medical staff committees


Minimum – Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Preferred – Master’s degree in nursing, health care management, business or related health field.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Five years of health care operations supervisory experience or 5-7 years of progressive relevant leadership experience

Preferred – Eight years progressive, relevant management experience. Previous clinic/healthcare management experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – RN License in the state of Wisconsin

Preferred - Applicable clinical certification

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Possession of analytical decision-making skills necessary to quickly assess and resolve complex logistical, technical and patient care problems and issues.
  • Ability to train, motivate and supervise subordinate staff.
  • Ability to address and manage conflict in a direct and professional manner.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with providers.
  • High emotional intelligence as evidenced by an ability to evaluate/perceive a situation from multiple lenses and understand various perspectives in coming to problem resolution

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Hours may vary based upon the operational needs of the department.
