The Infant & Toddler Therapist provides a range of services to very young children (infants and toddlers) and their caregivers. Services may include family therapy, individual child therapy, assessment, treatment planning, Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), among others. Works collaboratively within the agency and with other mental health professionals, community partners, and local, state, and federal stakeholders.
Provides screenings, assessments, and treatment planning, as well as individual and family therapy. May provide clinical direction to Skills Trainers and Case Management staff. Utilizes appropriate evidence-based practices. Submits timely documentation of services provided using Electronic Health Records and collaborative documentation. Manages time and caseload effectively.
Position requires a Master's degree in psychology or a related field and related experience with children and caregivers/families. Additional training, including infant Toddler Mental Health Post-Graduate Certification or equivalent training a plus. Experience in the provision of therapeutic services to children and their caregivers as well as PCIT a plus. Computer proficiency required to use Electronic Health Records. Valid OR driver's license and excellent driving record required. Must successfully complete state-required background and DMV checks. Candidate must be able to work independently and flexibly under general supervision.
