We’re in search of high performing Medical Assistants (MA) to join our care team. Our Medical Assistants play a critical role in establishing solid, trusting relationships with our patients and families. The positions require the ability to travel to all Allegro clinics see our website for clinic location ( Maintaining a positive working relationship with all staff is essential.

This position reports to a specific Clinic Manager.


  • Greet and prepare patients for physician. Obtain and record, in Electronic Health Record (EHR), vital signs and other information required for the patient facesheet.
  • Prepare electronic chart for upcoming visit. Reconcile immunizations as needed.
  • Print AM/PM unsigned documents for provider. Check orders tracking throughout the day.
  • Order, record, and administer immunizations, when appropriate.
  • Draw blood, process labs and perform x-rays to appropriate level of training.
  • Obtain non-invasive body fluid specimens.
  • Under supervision of practitioner or nurse supervisor, administer approved medications via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular or intradermal routes. (Does not start IVs or administer IV fluids).
  • Under supervision of the practitioner, inform patients of lab results.
  • Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and maintains equipment. Keep exam rooms clean, orderly and stocked. Dispose of contaminated items according to Allegro Pediatrics Exposure Control Plan. Anticipate practitioner’s needs for medications, supplies and equipment, and plan accordingly.
  • Provide patient mobility assistance as necessary.
  • Provide general health education within own level of expertise and as directed by practitioner and nurse supervisor. Assist in collecting and distributing patient education materials.
  • Must maintain and protect confidentiality both patient and corporate (HIPAA).
  • Must keep up to date with Allegro weekly/monthly internal communication emails.
  • Must complete mandatory trainings successfully.
  • Must work in any/all Allegro Pediatrics clinics as needed.
  • Must work on weekends and holidays on a rotation basis.
  • Must work a minimum of 36 hours per week on average.


  • Graduate of a certified medical assistant program.
  • Must have a Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified or Medical Assistant-Interim certificate. If you have an Interim certificate, you must have your certified certificate before the Interim expires.
  • CPR certification preferred.
