Overview

Full-time position: Mon – Fri, 8-hour days or four 10-hour days possible.

The Clinical Supervisor assists the Program Manager and Clinical Director with overseeing the delivery of clinical services for clients with mental health disorders and co-occurring disorders, helping to ensure the smooth running of the Medford Case Management Unit. This position works closely with management and clinical staff to provide clinical support, direction, and guidance to team members. They work effectively and collaboratively within the agency and with community partners. This position carries a caseload of clients and provides direct treatment to children and families and assessments as needed.

Supervision Exercised: Provides clinical direction, oversight and guidance to team, which may include Therapists, Skills Trainers, and Peer Support Specialists.

Responsibilities

Ensures the smooth running of the Case Management Team when the Manager is not present or is occupied, ensuring that those seeking care are being seen within a reasonable amount of time, troubleshooting issues including the scheduling of clients, responding to crisis and requesting assistance from other members of Options management team when needed.

Coordinates or assists in coordinating and promoting the open access model of entry into mental health/co-occurring treatment at the agency.

Engages and works collaboratively within the agency and with outside resources (DHS, doctor offices, and other internal and community resources) to obtain and coordinate services necessary for crisis stabilization, social development, housing needs, education, medical needs, etc.

Reviews and signs off on assigned team member treatment plans, providing guidance and education when needed. Facilitates referrals to appropriate internal and/or external resources where indicated. Provides consultation and education services within the agency and with community partners as needed.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Master's degree in a behavioral science and an understanding of co-occurring disorders, trauma, and related experience.

Two years post-master's experience required to meet qualifications under Medicaid for Clinical Supervisor. Professional licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC or clinical psychologist) and supervisory experience preferred.

Computer proficiency is required to use Electronic Health Records. Must pass state-required background and DMV checks, possess a valid driver's license, and have a safe driving record. Drug testing is required for this position.
