The Director of Communications works with the Communication, Management and Senior Leadership Teams to engage colleagues in development and execution of organization’s strategies while developing and implementing brand, consumer and digital strategies that align with the Mission and Vision, 2020 Vision and strategic priorities. The Director of Communication is responsible for leading all aspects of communication, marketing and public relations as they relate to internal and external communication, traditional and digital advertising, reputation management, public and media relations, website and colleague portal development and operations, colleague and patient storytelling, brand standard development and execution, and consumer engagement.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree- Required
Master's Degree- Preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years in healthcare marketing and/or public relations- Required
Media experience- Preferred
Management experience- Preferred

Healthcare is a rapidly changing environment and technology is integrated into almost all aspects of patient care. Computers and other electronic devices are utilized across the organization and throughout each department. Colleagues must have an understanding of computers, and competence in using computers and basic software programs.
