At UChicago Medicine, we are looking for a Senior Consultant of Leadership Recruitment Strategy to manage leadership recruitment programs and search engagements for all director level and up positions across the health system. This role is imbedded in the Talent Strategy team within Human Resources, and will serve as a trusted advisor to our leadership across the enterprise on hiring decisions, and help execute UChicago Medicine’s diversity inclusion and equity leader workforce strategy.

In this role, we are looking for someone with extensive leadership recruitment experience who is looking to transition from recruiting into process improvement and program management or has prior experience in consulting across leadership recruitment. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who values a high-touch candidate experience, frequently identifies opportunities for improvement, and utilizes a consultative approach to support senior management. As a Senior Consultant, Leadership Recruitment Strategy, you must possess refined presentation and communication skills and be comfortable partnering with all levels of the organization. You also must excel at building relationships with internal stakeholders and evaluating top tiered talent, while cultivating a strong diverse network of talent in the marketplace.

*This position will have the flexibility to work from home.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in a role requiring consultation and influence skills
  • 5+ years of leadership recruitment experience
  • Extensive experience with ATS, and recruiting data management. iCIMS experience a plus
  • Extensive experience with vendor management, and partnering with executive search firms
  • Skilled with social media marketing and passive recruiting strategies; must be familiar with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized with the highest level of quality standards
  • Goal-driven with the ability to pro-actively take initiative
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills
  • Ability to quickly build trust-based relationships with candidates, colleagues and internal/external stakeholders
