Seeking one healthcare professional (MD, DO, NP, ND, PA) with responsibility for implementing the following programs: A regional Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) reduction project, the county’s COVID-19 pandemic response, the reproductive health program, and a school-based health center. This position will focus on providing the following: Technical expertise, medical advice, project management, grant management, patient care, maintaining and enhancing regional and local partnerships, and developing epidemiological tools for reducing communicable disease throughout the region.
The successful candidate is able to multitask. This position exercises a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Strong communication skills, knowledge sharing, and innovative approaches to internal team members and external stakeholders. Must possess organizational and facilitation skills and experience in data collection and data management skills for outcome tracking.
Education, Experience, Certifications
Requires Master’s degree in area of specialty or national board certification as a nurse practitioner, physician assistant, medical doctor, naturopathic doctor in an area of specialty. Minimum of one year’s experience in the field or in a related area. Licensed as a physician assistant, medical doctor, naturopathic doctor. Familiar with a variety of this field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
