We Are: The Center for Health Affairs and CHAMPS Healthcare has a rich history of dedication and service to its members and clients dating back over 100 years. The Center advocates on behalf of 36 hospitals in nine counties throughout Northeast Ohio. One of The Center's most significant developments was the creation of its business affiliates: The Essentials Group, CHAMPS Group Purchasing, and CHAMPS Oncology. The Position: We’re looking for Director, NEO Hospitals Opioid Consortium. In this role, you will develop and initiate programming and activities as related to the Opioid Consortium strategic plan and program activities.


  • Works with the Executive Committee, Sr. Vice President and Center internal team members to develop initiatives within the scope of the strategic plan.
  • Represents the Consortium in meetings and activities.
  • Leads and supports educational efforts and committee work.
  • Works with hospital committee members to generate measurable outcomes.
  • Utilizes data from local, regional, and state entities as resources to support continued program development.
  • Assists in developing and implementing revenue producing initiatives.
  • Responsible for program budget planning and financial reports.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health or related Addictions field
  • Master’s degree or related certification preferred
  • 5-7 years experience
