Registered Nurse Sat-Sun 7pm-7:30am - 2241

The Registered Nurse (RN) position oversees the medical, psychiatric, substance abuse and nursing care for individuals served. The RN position also services as clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.   • Valid and current state-specific RN license.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to conduct assessments and treatment plans.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Trauma Informed Care experience preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.

Driving Requirements:

  • If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
  • If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.

A Nursing Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.

Physical Demands:

May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Work Environment

May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region

ADDENDUM – Washington

Education Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Licensure Valid and current state-specific RN license.
Misc. Requirement Licensed Registered Nurse with 1 year of experience preferred (it is possible for a RN to be a MHP level if they meet the qualifications)
