Heron’s Key was recently awarded the Holleran Community Choice Award recognizing high performing retirement communities across the United States and Penrose Harbor, the health center located at Heron’s Key has earned a 5 Star Medicare rating for skilled nursing services. We are seeking a licensed Health Services Administrator to lead and support our dedicated team of employees serving residents in skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care.
The Health Services Administrator is a key member of the Heron’s Key senior leadership team and oversees the daily operations of Penrose Harbor, a health care facility consisting of 30 private skilled nursing suites, 36 one bedroom assisted living apartments and 15 memory care private suites. The Administrator will ensure the provision of high quality, safe resident care throughout Penrose Harbor, maintain compliance with all applicable State and Federal regulations for skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care environments and equally important, provide leadership and support to the Penrose Harbor employee team.
Education, Experience, Certifications
The ideal candidate for this position will be a Washington State Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with at least two years of experience managing a skilled nursing facility. Familiarity with Assisted Living and Memory care regulations and services is preferred as these are likewise important areas of care and services. This position is pivotal to the success of Heron’s Key and will require excellent communication and customer service skills, a strong affinity for service, ability to analyze, problem solve and foster a culture of collaboration and caring.
