About the Position

We have an opening for a Quality Assurance Specialist at our Portland Service Center in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses excellent people skills, is diplomatic yet sensitive to other’s needs, well organized, efficient with prioritizing tasks, professional with fellow staff and clients, and is self-motivated with a "go-getter" attitude. This position requires the following skills; basic Excel experience to include formula writing, analytical skills and knowledge of audit process and timelines, basic FileMaker database development, high level of confidentiality and knowledge of HIPAA rules.

Other duties include but are not limited to; daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting, data entry, coordinate meetings, compile data, state licensing inspections, routine policy and forms review, monitor/update monthly prescribed medication doses information with programs, travel to programs and inspect/photograph mandatory postings as needed, assist other departments with finding pertinent OAR information and Identify data trend.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (Day)

Qualifications

MUST have a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences (with coursework in statistics) or related field
MUST have two (2) years of experience in a clerical position or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
MUST have previous computer programming experience including MS Access, database tracking, and preparing. ad hoc reports

Requires a high level of confidentiality and independent judgment.

Successful applicants MUST have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Pay & Benefits

Starting at $20.00+ per hour/DOE.
