Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organizations mission has remained providing quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency is comprised of five divisions – Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Youth Services, Early Intervention, and Education which are currently supported through 14 different locations.

The 590 Crisis System of Care Program will provide Crisis Intervention and Mobile Crisis Response services to participants within a designated coverage area. The program is designed to address service gaps by creating a coordinated continuum of crisis care for anyone living in the identified coverage area.

We are seeking a highly motivated Mental Health Professionals to join our Crisis Care Program located at 2259 South Damen Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60608. This position will also work at 2938 E. 89th St. Chicago, IL 60617.

Work schedules available:

Monday-Friday OR Wednesday- Sunday

  • 8am-4pm
  • 4pm-12am
  • 12am- 8am

Responsibilities and Duties

This individual will provide support services to participants experiencing a mental health crisis, on site and as part of a mobile crisis response team; This individual will also provide ongoing support and expertise through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and overall evaluation of individual participant needs.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling; Psychology; Social Work, and 3-5 years of mental health experience or related field required.
