The Strategic Workforce Planning program partners with leaders across Cleveland Clinic’s hospitals, institutes, and service lines world-wide to forecast the capacity and capabilities their physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, and other critical roles will need in the near future. Housed within the Caregiver Office, this is a high-visibility group that will drive our people strategy and bring sophisticated analysis, technology, and planning tools to evolve Cleveland Clinic’s global workforce of 70,000+ caregivers. Strategic Workforce Planning at Cleveland Clinic consists of creating data-driven and actionable roadmaps for our hospitals, institutes, and departments to build future-ready workforces. The Director of Strategic Workforce Planning will lead planning projects from conceptualization to implementation, and is responsible for delivering insightful, clear, and actionable workforce plans. The Director will oversee a team of planners and analysts, developing the approach for each planning project and guiding the team along the way, ensuring input from Cleveland Clinic leaders and experts are built in, and that the deliverable meets the needs of the internal client. Blending skills in analytics, planning, and consulting, the director will drive the day-to-day Strategic Workforce Planning process, and be the conduit connecting planners and analysts to senior Cleveland Clinic leaders. This will require building strong internal relationships, demonstrating influencing skills, and communicating effectively at all levels. Also, the director will be a strategic thinker who can connect the dots across a broad landscape, align insights to strategic goals, and anticipate the needs and concerns of senior leaders. Key to this role is an ability to lead teams, apply critical thinking and take the initiative to drive results. This role will manage a team of planners and analysts, and will report to the Executive Director of Strategic Workforce Planning.
