Staff Dentist, Covela, CA

To provide general dental services to individuals and families. The incumbent should be an active enthusiastic participant in helping RVIHC to realize its missions and to provide the highest possible level of health care

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To provide comprehensive public health orientated dental services to eligible persons to include: diagnostic, consultation/referral, emergency, preventive, restorative, endodontic, prosthetic, and periodontic services
2. To provide all general clinic services such as; determination of service priorities as appropriate, oral hygiene instruction, to include use of fluorides, and periodontal assessment with emphasis on individual home care instruction, and other required dental duties
3. Supervise Dental Assistants; oversee department operations.
4. To attend and participate in staff meetings, assist and work with the Executive Director and department managers in maintaining communication relative to overall operation of the clinic

QUALIFICATION

1. Current California Dental License
2. Must have experience in dealing with the public
3. Must be responsible, punctual and courteous In all duties
4. Maintain strict confidentiality
5. Must comply with HIPPA laws and regulations
6. Must be willing to take and pass pre-employment drug screening
7. Must adhere to the RVIHC Personnel Policies & Procedures
