Endoscopy Nurse Manager, Seattle, WA

UW Medical Center - Northwest is hiring a Nurse Manager to lead our Endoscopy Unit. Our Endoscopy Unit is a high-volume procedural unit with inpatient and outpatient referrals. We provide procedural support and care for therapeutic, diagnostic, and screening GI services. The Nurse Manager will oversee the Endoscopy Unit at our North Seattle hospital campus and will grow in oversight to oversee the outpatient Endoscopy Unit at our newly-expanded ambulatory medical center. This is a great opportunity to lead a growing team that always puts their patients first.

The Nurse Manager will oversee an estimated 20-25 employees, including Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, Instrument Technicians, and Patient Services Specialists. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for developing and assessing employee skills, monitoring and managing employee performance, completing timekeeping responsibilities, and acting as an expert resource when staff encounter problems or questions. The Nurse Manager will also provide leadership, make decisions, set goals, and assure that quality, performance, and production standards are maintained.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• An active RN license in Washington State
• Demonstrated procedural nursing experience

DESIRED:

• Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
• 2-3 years of management experience in a healthcare setting
