Salary Range: $189,500 - $207,000

Central Washington Family Medicine Residency is in search of a Faculty Core Physician interested in teaching, mentoring, and advising our Resident Physicians. Our Yakima clinic is home to Central Washington Family Medicine Residency Program where MD and DO faculty members bring their unique interests and talents to work alongside a team of Resident Physicians, APCs, Behavioral Health Professionals, Pharmacists and Nursing staff to bring full spectrum training to future practitioners. You will provide direct care to our patients in clinical, hospital, and other ambulatory care settings under the oversight of the Residency Program Director. You will be an integral component of educating our Residents through precepting and formal teaching, serve as an advisor, perform curricular duties and other assignments including Family Medical Services (FMS) and/or OB services as scheduled.

Qualified applicants will have graduated from an accredited medical school and completed an accredited residency program. You must be able to obtain a WA State Medical License and be BC/BE in Family Medicine. ACOFP boarded physician practicing OMT, FQHC/CHC experience and prior experience working with medically underserved populations is preferred. Prior teaching experience is required. No restriction from participation with the Medicaid or Medicare programs and the ability to obtain credentials from appropriate health plans and to be covered by CHCW malpractice liability carrier is required. Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus. Applicants requiring a work visa will be considered. Sign on bonus.
