What We Do:

Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services operates six regional psychiatric hospitals, located throughout the state, and operated by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, employs psychologists to provide trauma-informed and patient-focused care. Psychologists collaborate with their multidisciplinary treatment teams and community mental health providers in providing quality patient care. Psychologists also provide valuable information to courts through the forensic assessments and reports they prepare.

Your clinical skills in individual and group therapy, as well as testing and assessment, will be put to good use. Any previous forensic training, or your willingness to be trained in forensics, will be highly valued and appreciated.

Salary Information:

• $37.42 per hour with the first increase in 180 days to $39.28
• Additional hourly recruitment supplements are available
• Annual increases each year with an additional longevity supplement after 5 years of service

Psychologists can receive up to a 3% increase every July 1st per the current 1199 bargaining unit contract.
