Under the direction of the Executive Director, Clinical Services and in conjunction with the Physician Leader(s), develops strategic plans, annual goals and objectives, financial budget and administrative management of all CRNA within the OSU Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC), as well as Anesthesia Techs and nursing positions within Anesthesiology Services. Oversight includes a reporting structure of the APPs in the department of Anesthesiology as well as all contracted APP providers at all of our medical facilities. This position will plan, develop, implement, and oversee programs and projects designed to evaluate and improve clinical quality, safety, resource utilization and operations within Anesthesiology Services and the surgical operating rooms at the OSUWMC. Works with nursing management and physician leaders to develop projects, programs and implement system changes that promote clinical excellence and patient satisfaction across the health system.

Minimum Qualifications

Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Doctorate degree is required. Certificate of authority to practice as CRNA is required. Management background in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Highly developed clinical, interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate on a frequent basis with peers, colleagues, managers, physicians, other health care professionals.
