Maintains detailed knowledge of related policies, guidelines, procedures, collective bargaining agreements, laws, and regulations in assigned area as well as detailed knowledge in assigned HRS, NHRSC, and NPS processing. Provides resource, information, advice, and assistance on HR services. Coordinates with HR staff and others within and outside organization, to resolve and facilitate the resolution of customer issues and ensure activities are consistent with policy. Ensures timely processing of transactions. Participates in and/or coordinates activities relating to HRS/Operations.

Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years Human Resources experience, including one year experience in at least two of the following HR functions: employment, benefits or salary administration.

Education

  • Associates degree in human resources, business or related field OR two (2) years of directly related experience.

License, Certification, Registration

  • N/A.

Additional Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of employment-related federal and state laws/regulations (e.g., TDI, FMLA, etc.).
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload in an effective manner, communicate at all levels with employees and supervisors, and to work effectively on a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to write letters, memos, etc. effectively. group presentation experience.
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database PC applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business.

Pay Range: $48900 - $63250
