Provides leadership, direction and administration over operations while optimizing performance at all occupational medicine programs. Directs leaders to efficiently manage resources and meet established goals and targets. Ensures the integration and coordination of services across AH to drive consistent and standardized operations, infrastructure and overall strategic direction.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

License/Registration/Certification Required: Licensed Allied Professional or Registered Nurse

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a health care related field

Experience Required: Typically requires 10 years of experience in Occupational Health and health care administration. Includes 7 years of management experience in overseeing clinical operations, providing direction to other leaders, and working with multiple sites and departments, employers, and various clinical and nonclinical staff.

Must have Muscular Skeletal System knowledge.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities. Ability to prepare formal business proposals and correspondence, negotiate business contracts and influence/persuade others. Strong financial skills.
  • Expert knowledge of occupational health operations including regulatory bodies that impact operations.
  • Expert knowledge of the health care industry including muscular skeletal system to successfully manage multiple clinical programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and ability to adapt material to any type of audience. Excellent time management, organizational, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the employer community and their needs.
  • Excellent diplomacy skills. Ability to see all sides of an issue and negotiate fair solutions. Demonstrated ability to manage difficult relationships and resolve conflict, build effective teams, and establish/maintain positive relationships. Ability to understand complex relationships between departments, markets, and service lines and propose solutions that are best for the organization. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications. Advanced knowledge of computer applications in a healthcare setting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This position requires travel, may be exposed to severe road and weather hazards.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Generally exposed to normal office environment.
