The Government Programs Director Regulatory and Policy is responsible for leading and executing on the Enterprise Population Health legislative and regulatory strategy to advance Advocate Health’s objectives in value-based care and Government Programing.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

License/Registration/Certification:

None Required

Level of Education:

Master's degree in health care administration or related field

Experience:

5 years of experience with managed care or value-based care policy or regulatory affairs

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to work and function in a complex corporate system environment with matrixed reporting relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization in order to collaborate with team members, management, executives, and other organizations.
• Skills in designing, administering, and evaluating programs to maximize organizational performance.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and qualitative skills to facilitate effective decision-making. Ability to identify and solve problems creatively, to work within deadlines with high attention to detail, and to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
