The Government Programs Director Regulatory and Policy is responsible for leading and executing on the Enterprise Population Health legislative and regulatory strategy to advance Advocate Health’s objectives in value-based care and Government Programing.

Level of Education:
Master's degree in health care administration or related field
Experience:
5 years of experience with managed care or value-based care policy or regulatory affairs
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to work and function in a complex corporate system environment with matrixed reporting relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization in order to collaborate with team members, management, executives, and other organizations.
Skills in designing, administering, and evaluating programs to maximize organizational performance.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and qualitative skills to facilitate effective decision-making. Ability to identify and solve problems creatively, to work within deadlines with high attention to detail, and to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
