Salary Range $25.00 - $31.25 Hourly

The unlicensed Counselor with those in crisis delivers high-quality and transparent clinical mental health services to fulfill the needs of Diversus Health's clients. Services include...

  • Comprehensive evaluation of social, emotional, and psychiatric history/diagnosis
  • Treatment and safety planning
  • Determining the appropriate level of care,
  • Establishing connections with necessary resources, and facilitating admission to suitable inpatient facilities when needed.
  • Additionally, active engagement is maintained with crisis hotlines, schools, community partners, first responders, and hospital emergency departments.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field (M.A., M.S., MSW, MFT)
  • Plan to obtain licensure within two (2) years, preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in a behavioral health setting, preferred
  • Must have sufficient language skills and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing to accurately and professionally implement and document the services provided to clients
  • Must be able to perform and understand active listening, ethical conduct, social perception, service orientation, complex problem-solving, writing, monitoring, judgment and decision-making skills
  • Experience working therapeutically with those in crisis
  • Experience using various treatment modalities appropriate to those in crisis, utilizing strength-based therapeutic approaches
  • Experience working in a team environment
