Group Health Plan Coverage of Covid-19 Immunizations

First few Article Sentences

As emergency authorization from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently been announced for two vaccines, non-grandfathered group health plans must prepare to provide coverage for COVID-19 immunizations with no cost-sharing. Coverage with no cost-sharing must be available for both in-network and out-of-network providers within 15 days of such immunizations being recommended by the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) or the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Grandfathered group health plans are encouraged, but not required, to provide this coverage as well.
