Frequent: sitting, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.
Occasional: standing, walking, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, reaching above, at and below shoulder level. Depending upon area of assignment may lift and/or carry usual weight of 1 pound up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling usual weight of 10 pounds up to 20 pounds.
Operates computer, copier, telephone and fax.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
Bachelor’s degree in business, health care or related field; OR five (5) years experience in any or combination of the following: physician’s practice, health clinic operations, medical insurance, physician practice services may substitute for education.
Demonstrated knowledge in third party and government payor and reimbursement regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid program requirements preferred.
In addition to the educational requirement, two (2) years experience in healthcare, preferably in a physician practice.
Prior experience demonstrating ability to work effectively with physicians.
