Large medical practice looking for a CPA to serve as the Finance Manager for the practice.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial and risk management operations. This includes development of financial metrics tied to practice strategy, cash management, and monitoring control systems to preserve company assets. This position works with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You must comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting. This position is heavy in accounting duties. The appropriate candidate must be a CPA or CPA candidacy underway.

Responsibilities

  • Complete financial accounting and forecasting
  • Management of financial staff
  • Deliver reports and metrics to leadership
  • Development of financial strategies in partnership with senior leadership
  • Work withing HRIS system to migrate data

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
  • Current CPA or CPA exam candidacy underway
  • Experience managing accounts payable and Quickbooks Enterprise General Ledger with multiple classes and sub-classes
  • Ability to migrate data from HRIS and Quickbooks to Excel for preparation of Journal entries, AR reports and final financial statements.
  • Excel skills for creating and managing workbooks with complex formulas
  • Working knowledge of physician reimbursement issues
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
