Billing Specialist / Credentialing (CPCS Preferred) ***Not Remote or Telecommute***
Salary: $16-18 / Hour DOE (Non-Exempt/Hourly)
We are looking to hire an organized and experienced Billing Specialist / Credentialing (BS-C) to credential providers at Waterfall Community Health Center. BS-C is a key position in the operating revenue cycle, BS-C must understand state, federal and accreditation requirements relative to the various credentialing processes. BS-C will be responsbility for both medical billing and credentialing functions for small and effective Billing Department utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) and clearinghouse interface. Process credentialing applications including data entry, scanning and all necessary verifications and primary source verifications. BBS-C will track the expiration of certifications to maintain up-to-date files, and bill all Medicaid, Medicare and commerical payers for billing claims and follow-up for payment.
To be successful in this role BS-C will need to ensure currency and accuracy of all information. Preferred candidates will be reliable, energetic, able to and have excellent communication skills. BS-C must demonstrate the ability to be an effective team player and upholds “best practices” in day to day processes and work flow standardization to drive maximum efficiencies across the team.
