DIRECTOR OF INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Director of Integrated Behavior Health (IBH) is responsible for the facilitation and development of behavioral health service integration into a primary care clinic or telehealth setting. This position oversees and collaborates for continuous quality improvement of the integrated model. By utilizing a team-based approach, the Director of IBH provides leadership and training in order to maintain a successful program as indicated with evidence-based outcomes. Director ensures that the behavioral health and medical team are able to provide integrated comprehensive behavioral health services with emphasis on quality and safety. Director works closely with administrative and clinical staff to plan, implement, and monitor integration efforts.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience which involves using psychological assessments, formulating diagnosis or treatment recommendations and providing counseling services to patients. Have at least 5 years of clinician experience and at least two years in supervisory position.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE: PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field from a regionally accredited university. Maintain a current, active license with the State of Alaska as a Licensed Psychologist. Must have current BLS certification.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Bilingual preferred.
