Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
The Nurse Manager oversees the daily operations of the medical clinics at Options (psychiatric and medical). This includes ensuring appropriate staffing is available for medical providers, overseeing client schedules for providers, and handling daily operational issues. This position takes the lead in ensuring all quality bench marks are met for PCPCH Certification and other agency prescribed goals. This position directly supervises the medical assistants.
Supervision Exercised: Directly supervises Medical Assistants and provides administrative functions for medical providers in conjunction with the Medical Director and Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Provides administrative direction and guidance to team(s). Ensures that clinical directives are carried out. Works effectively and collaboratively within the agency and with other mental health professionals, community partners and local, state and federal stakeholders. Ensures program compliance with relevant Medicaid and State licensing standards. Adheres to and enforces agency policies and procedures regarding attendance, job performance and professional conduct.
Must work effectively and collaboratively with a diverse treatment team and community partners. Adheres to and enforces agency policies and procedures regarding attendance, job performance and professional conduct. Strong attention to detail, a genuine desire to lead, and good interpersonal skills.
Registered Nurse with 3 years’ relevant experience.
Unrestricted, valid Oregon license as a Registered Nurse required.
Experience with practice management preferred.
Candidates must be able to use e-mail, compose documents, save and locate documents electronically, and learn to use our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Proficiency in Word and other MS Office applications preferred.
Must pass state-required background and DMV checks; possess a valid OR driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Candidate must be able to work independently and flexibly, under general supervision.
