The System Executive Director, Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Impact position will support the strategic development and implementation of Sanford’s social contribution, community partnerships, as well as volunteerism opportunities across the enterprise. Areas of focus include developing and enhancing social impact programs for positive health, wellbeing, and overall societal impact, crafting goals, policies and initiatives that align with and support Sanford's business strategies, reflect our values and support the communities we serve, and will work with key business areas for employee engagement, communications, and public relations opportunities.
This role will also provide education and awareness of Sanford's social contribution activity to both internal and external stakeholders. Develop, manage and execute philanthropic programs, in partnership with non-profit partners that advance Sanford Health's mission of improving the human condition.
Primary responsibilities to include building strong networks with relevant stakeholders internally and externally to ensure that the work is well positioned, relevant and visible to local, regional, national and international agendas. Develop and manage a systematic approach to reporting; measure and assess progress against quantitative and qualitative goals and targets. Establish relevant KPIs, collect and monitor data, and support progress reporting. Work across Sanford's enterprise to share impact activity, establish an internal CSR network, support strategy awareness, and promote collaboration among various departments (i.e. Human Resources, Supply Chain, LEAD, Sourcing, Office of Diversity). Identify and manage opportunities for engagement to ensure that our leaders are well informed and involved. Provide point of contact and input to shape the delivery of system-wide volunteering initiatives. Represent Sanford Health in appropriate settings regarding community impact (conferences, meetings, roundtables, etc.). Proactively identify opportunities where Sanford Health can amplify impact through financial contributions and also through non-financial contributions, based on the broader resources of our health system.
Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree preferred.
7-10 years of experience with a strong knowledge and skills within the Corporate Social Responsibility discipline, corporate philanthropy, and proven leadership experience working in non-profit, corporate, and/or government environment.
