Join an organization where you can find both passion and purpose in the work you do. Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) is an Alaska Native non-profit corporation that works toward meeting the health and social service needs of Tribal members and beneficiaries throughout the 235,000 square mile region in Interior Alaska (an area just slightly smaller than the state of Texas). Not only is TCC responsible for the healthcare delivery in villages throughout Interior Alaska, we also own and operate the Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center (CAIHC) in Fairbanks - making us the second largest healthcare provider in the city. TCC is currently in the process of expanding our health services to include urgent care, hematology, oncology, outpatient specialty clinics and an ambulatory surgery center and we are seeking qualified candidates to join our team.
The Upper Tanana Health Center Physician Assistant is a member of the healthcare team who works in collaboration with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. The scope of practice of each Physician Assistant is defined through the credentialing and privileging processes overseen by the Tanana Chiefs Conference Medical Executive Committee. The role of the Upper Tanana Health Center Physician Assistant is to assess, maintain, and improve the individual and collective health status of individuals in the Upper Tanana Region.
Adhere to the TCC Ch'eghwtsen' model of service and guiding principle which requires providing timely and effective service along with the ability to interact with others in a way that inspires trust and demonstrates respect, compassion and empathy.
