The Administrative Director of The HEAL Healthy Communities Study directs, oversees, and supervises execution, administration and operations of programs established or to be established as part of the NIH-sponsored HEAL study; actively participates in short- and long-term strategic planning, initiates new strategies and initiatives, and implements plans to align and achieve HEAL goals and objectives; develops and establishes metrics and productivity measurements for use in program evaluation; reviews protocols and regulatory documents; works with staff and faculty to identify key issues and trends; works with communications to develop best practices for dissemination; operates across working groups to align functions and maintain transparency and communication; develops and administers annual operating budgets; reviews and authorizes expenditures; monitors and reconciles financial reports and activities; periodically assesses organizational structure and staffing to optimize productivity and efficiency; directs and oversees staff recruitment, employment, onboarding and training, performance evaluation, and employee relations activities; develops, implements, and revises Standard Operating Procedures as needed; evaluates, identifies, and drives process improvements; supports the mission of HEAL by leading and promoting an efficient, cost-effective, high-quality administrative business model, organizational structure, and operational processes.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in business administration

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business admin, health care admin, or relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Masters Degree preferred; considerable experience in progressively responsible administrative capacity with direct experience planning and managing programs required; strategic or long-range planning experience desired; knowledge of clinical research regulations, guidelines and compliance issues required. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
