Clinical Director, Remote, WA

Scope of Work

Work with nonprofit, private, and governmental organizations to build community relationships and further expand HCAW’s (Home Care Association of Washington) mission and programs.

Work with HCAW Board to develop, manage, and nurture relationships across a wide range of partnerships, including those yet to be identified, to develop and improve channels for providing information and access to the HCAW community.

Act as a resource for members’ technical or industry specific questions and inquiries that cannot be answered by HCAW staff (e.g., direct questions regarding payment reimbursements).

Work diligently with HCAW’s Legislative Consultant to distribute the latest legislative information to members in a timely matter and ensure members’ concerns are being relayed to key legislators at the state and federal level. Develop a monthly newsletter to communicate important regulatory and legislative updates.

Organize and participate in HCAW’s Day on the Hill, including but not limited to, appointments with key legislators and their staff.

Use developed relationships to ensure high-level industry experts speak at the Annual Conference to address members’ needs and to discuss strategies for current and future rules and regulations.

Develop and, in some cases, outsource technical programs such as OASIS that are paramount to for members and nonmembers to thrive in their homecare roles and advance in their careers.

Qualities of a Candidate

• Licensed in their field (PT, OT, SLP, Nursing, etc.)
• Interest in regulatory processes
• Excellent written communication skills Strong computer skills, online meeting facilitation skills
• Education Background desired

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of recent experience in a leadership role in an agency
• Clinical Background in In-Home Services
