What We Do:

Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services operates six regional psychiatric hospitals, located throughout the state, and operated by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Psychiatrists provide trauma-informed and patient-focused care collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams and community mental health providers. They also provide valuable information to courts through the forensic assessments and reports they prepare.

Salary Information:

• $81.92 per hour, higher rates may be available based on experience
• Additional hourly recruitment and geographical supplements are available
• Bi-annual increases with possible annual increases for exemplary performance
• Psychiatrists can receive up to a 3% increase every July 1st per the current 1199 bargaining unit contract.
