What We Do:
Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services operates regional psychiatric hospitals in six locations across the state that operate 365/24/7. Our specialized facilities provide short-term, intensive treatment to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed through the criminal justice system. Our social workers work with treatment teams of professionals working together to ensure caring and humane treatment for Ohioans with mental health disorders. We are continuously recruiting career-oriented individuals with the skills, commitment, and desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
Salary Information:
Social Worker 1 (LSW)
Social Worker 2 (LISW)
All Social Workers:
Social Workers can receive up to a 3% increase every July 1st per the current 1199 bargaining unit contract.
