Compensation:
- Exempt/Salary
- New hires are placed on our starting wage scale of $87,800 to $108,000 per year
- Based on performance, there is room to grow on our full wage scale of $87,800 5o $128,200 per year
Work Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday (2-3 Saturdays per year as part of Saturday supervisor rotation)

Job Summary
As the Support Services Manager, you would be responsible for managing the call center, referrals, Health Information Management (HIM) and front desk operations of UCNW. Duties include:
- Managing staff of the Support Services functions
- Partnering and collaborating with program Operations Managers and Leadership Teams to assure provider service levels are met.
- Managing & owning projects, initiatives, annual goals & objectives, and grants/contracts for the support services departments.
- Managing customer service and patients’ experience of care.
- Providing input to and assuring achievement of the annual quality performance measures and targets for the support services departments in collaboration with the QI Manager.
- Managing the financial health of the department in collaboration with the department leadership team.
- Managing staff and patient safety for support services departments.

Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in a health care setting
- 3 years’ supervisory experience
- Advanced general skills, including written and verbal communications skills, computational and computer skills, critical thinking and analytical skills, and mathematical knowledge at a level typically acquired through completion of a general bachelor’s degree program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare operations, scheduling and patient flow.
- Strong skills in leadership, communication, reporting & conflict resolution
- Ability to demonstrate cultural awareness and competency
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and remain flexible in stressful conditions
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with medical records, personnel, and business information and conform to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations
- Ability to learn and apply continuous quality improvement processes
- Ability to collaboratively and effectively work across multiple departments towards a common solution
- Ability to travel within Whatcom County between UCNW facilities or outside of Whatcom County for meetings or trainings
- Ability to communicate bilingually in Spanish or Russian, a plus
