Get in on the ground floor! Here's your chance to build and expand the Physical and Occupational Therapy Services at Group Health in the Spokane area.
As the supervisor, you will have the opportunity to grow and market existing therapy services to the internal and external community. In addition, you will supervise and participate in the daily operations of the physical and occupational therapy departments. Along with administrative duties, 50% of the position is patient care. The Supervisor of Physical/Occupational Therapy will work closely with the Ancillary Services Manager and the medical center management team to assure care delivery and service that meets or exceeds standards and provides an excellent patient experience.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree Physical Therapy
Doctorate Degree Physical Therapy
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Basic or limited Customer service, organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, responding to issues as they arise. Ability to mentor, develop and engage staff, monitor performance standards, deliver results, and hold staff accountable. Effective communication, collaboration and change management skills. Knowledge of relevant clinical practice. Strong marketing and service development skills.
Basic or limited Knowledge of regulatory requirements, managed care, and health care delivery systems. Financial management skills.
Minimum Experience Requirements
3 years PT experience
2 years experience in a supervisory capacity (lead, supervisor) in a clinical environment managing day-to-day work flow, and performance of others.
1 year marketing experience with physicians and other referral sources.
2 years Experience in practice management including marketing and staff development
Minimum License/Certifications Requirements
At time of hire: WA State DOH license in Physical Therapy.
