Overview

The therapist provides outpatient, in-school and after-school clinical services to youth. This position is co-located at our children’s outpatient center and in the Department of Human Services (DHS) office. Utilizes Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) in delivery of client services. Options provides on the job training and supervision for FIT.

Responsibilities

The individual will be responsible for providing services to children and adolescents, including assessment and treatment planning, as well as individual, family, and group therapy. This position also provides clinical direction to skills trainers and works cooperatively with DHS-Child Welfare and community resources. They also utilize appropriate evidence-based practices; as well, they submit timely documentation of services provided using Electronic Health Records and collaborative documentation. The candidate must also manage their time and caseload effectively.

Qualifications

This position requires a Master's degree in a behavioral science, an understanding of co-occurring disorders, and related experience.

Experience with substance abuse treatment for dually diagnosed clients preferred.

Must be a QMHP on the Mental Health & Addictions Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) registry.

OR

Must be registered as a licensure intern with the State of Oregon or be licensed in Oregon as an LMFT, LCSW, LPC or clinical Psychologist.

Candidates must be able to use e-mail, compose documents, save and locate documents electronically, and learn to use our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Proficiency in Word and other MS Office applications preferred.

Must pass state-required background and DMV checks; possess a valid OR driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Candidate must be able to work independently and flexibly, under general supervision.

Options for Southern Oregon is subject to the State of Oregon vaccine mandate for healthcare workers. New hires must submit vaccination documentation showing they are fully vaccinated, or be approved for an exception/accommodation, by their hire date.
